Salisbury & Portsmouth Counselling and Psychotherapy
Liz Strain Counselling SalisburyI am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working in Salisbury, Portsmouth and the general Hampshire area. I am fully professionally trained and I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy.
I work with adults, couples and young people in the Salisbury & Portsmouth area. I also offer supervision for counsellors. My way of working is integrative, drawing on different theories and methods of working in counselling and psychotherapy.
Counselling and psychotherapy can be of help to you if you are experiencing a difficulty such as:
- Bereavement and loss
- Relationship and emotional problems
- Life/work balance
- Self harming
- Panic attacks
- A life transition
- Eating disorders
- Low self image
- Childhood trauma
Counselling and psychotherapy gives you the opportunity to speak in a safe and confidential place to find out more about what is troubling you.
By putting your problems and feelings into words you can begin to change your understanding of them. As you consider what you want to be different in your life, you can explore ways in which you can move towards achieving this.
In this way counselling and psychotherapy can help you work towards living in more satisfying and resourceful ways.
